On most film sets around Puerto Rico, everyone has given up on my real name, they just call me "Steadipapi." Partly because I've spent years operating a Steadicam on professional film sets — living inside moving frames, chasing emotion through space. And partly because, according to crew lore, I resemble Clark Kent — if he were Puerto Rican and his name was Carlitos.
